Eight years ago Mando Books, Inc. opened in Cortland, New York, with one goal in mind: to provide a less expensive, more friendly textbook alternative to the campus store. We've worked hard to make that goal a reality, and we've made a lot of friends along the way.

What makes us different is that we've walked in your shoes. Not so many years ago, when we were in school, we looked at the existing options for textbooks and we thought we could do better. Mando Books lowered prices, began buying books back every day, and created the prepack system, which allows students to hang out and listen to music while our staff retrieves your personal stack of books.

In 2002 we opened a store in Binghamton (link to Binghamton page) to service a whole new community. The new store offers an exciting array of challenges and opportunities, and the feedback from our Binghamton customers has been really positive.
